General Notes: Husband - Thomas Delamater

He was born in Whitehall, New York and in 1822 he came with his wife and one child to Crawford County, Pennsylvania. They remained for a short time in Athens Township, near Centreville. Doubting the integrity of his title to the land there, he removed to the western part of Richmond, where he spent the main part of his life. He died at Townville, whither he had removed several years previous, leaving seven children.
