General Notes: Husband - John Dearborn

He and his wife came to Crawford County, Pennsylvania, in 1801, and were the parents of ten children, of whom three only were still living in 1885. They were members of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
He was a shoe-maker by trade, at which he worked in his younger days. He was the owner, at one time, of 400 acres of land. He gave his children as good an education as the country afforded.
