General Notes: Husband - Jacob Deeds

He was the first of the Deeds family to come to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, which he did as a young man from Somerset County, where he had been born. He settled and continued to make that place his residence until his death, at the advanced age of ninety-three years. He was a member of the Evangelical church and held an office in the church society there.
