General Notes: Husband - James Findley

---

He came to what is now East Wheatfield township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, with his parents when a child, and was there reared to manhood. During the War of 1812 he gave his country service and assisted in the construction of Fort Meigs. Like his father he was a farmer and miller, and spent his life in East Wheatfield township, where he died, being buried in the family lot on the farm, where a headstone marked his last resting place.
