General Notes: Husband - Frank Burdett Dillon

He received his education in public schools. He learned the printer's trade, and for a time was employed by his father in Fairmont, West Virginia, later working in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, and finally in Coraopolis, where he then resided. In 1897 Mr. Dillon purchased the Coraopolis Suburban, changing the name to the Coraopolis Chronicle. He was editor and publisher, having succeeded his father, whose journalistic ability he inherited.
As a citizen Mr. Dillon was actively public-spirited, and in politics was allied with the Republican party, and served fifteen years in the office of school director. He belonged to the Knights of Malta. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
