General Notes: Husband - Samuel Stewart Dinsmore

He was an only child and engaged in farming after the close of his school days. He resided on a well improved farm that he owned in Hickory Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, having ninety-three acres there, which was some of the best land lying along the Harlansburg road. He raised marketable produce and cattle, and was numbered with the township's men of means. His two-story frame residence was fitted with modern improvements and was a comfortable country home. On both sides of the family the members were long identified with the United Presbyterian Church.
