He located in Deer Creek township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, in the same year that his brother Ithiel settled in New Vernon, and set out fruit-trees, and made some slight improvements. When Jacob Ross, and Aaron, his son, came from the Susquehanna, in 1803, in search of land, he sold his improvement to them.
