General Notes: Husband - Samuel Moore


He was reared in Brady township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, received a common school education, and spent the greater portion of his life upon his homestead, following the peaceful vocation of a farmer. He retired to New Castle in 1904. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church, and in politics, he was a Republican.

He was five years old when his parents removed to Brady Township, Butler County, and settled on a farm. Mr. Moore always followed general farming and stock raising and was successful.
