General Notes: Husband - John W. Hunter


He was the first attorney in the list of those who were admitted at the first court of Mercer, Pennsylvania, February 16, 1804. He was a resident of Meadville, later removed to Pittsburgh, where he lived and practiced, but ultimately received an appointment at Washington, where his death occurred. He practiced very little at the Mercer courts.
