General Notes: Husband - Joseph Alexander

About the year 1785 he came with his brothers, Thomas and Samuel, to Washington County, Pennsylvania. In March, 1786, they took out a patent for 400 acres of land on Millers run, which was then included in Washington County, later in Allegheny County. Some time after this purchase he sold his interest in the land to his brothers and purchased, of someone named Mercer, a farm near Canonsburg.

Six children are listed [HWC 1882, 627], [CBRWC, 220]. Five children are listed [CBRWC, 521. Perhaps "West", listed as a child, is actually the middle name of Joseph W. Alexander.
