Mrs. Wilda Feltenberger
PARKER – Mrs. Wilda "Billie" Feltenberger, 65, of West Monterey, Parker RD 1, a former West Monterey postmaster, died Monday evening in St. Vincent Hospital in Erie after an extended illness.
She was born in Victory Heights, Franklin, on October 4, 1914, a daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie Stroup Shreffler.
She was married to Richard E. Feltenberger on September 29, 1934, and he survives.
Mrs. Feltenberger served as postmaster of the West Monterey Post Office for more than ten years.
She was a member of the West Monterey United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jack and Richard E. Feltenberger Jr., both of Erie; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lester (Mary) Chatley of Cranberry, and Mrs. Albert (Ruth) Myers of Titusville; two brothers, Rev. Wayne Shreffler of Youngsville, and Norman Shreffler of Polk; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to pm Wednesday in the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Hope, Wayne Street, Parker.
Services will be held at 11 am Thursday in the funeral home with Rev. June Lingler, a Methodist minister, officiating.
Interment will be in the Rockland Cemetery in Rockland.
