General Notes: Husband - George Gallowhur

He was a native of Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, who settled in Manchester, near Walnut Creek, Erie County, in 1818. Five years later he removed to another place, then consisting of eighty-five acres, all of which he cleared. He was one of the founders, and for many years Elder of the Presbyterian Church at Girard.

He and his wife had eleven children; two were still living in 1884.
