General Notes: Husband - James Herriott


In 1786, then eight years old, he came from Maryland to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, with his faher, who settled on Chartiers creek, and purchased a small tract of land.
He learned the milling trade, but later in life followed farming. In 1812 he purchased a farm in South Fayette township known as "Hunter's camp."

He and his wife had six sons and two daughters.
