General Notes: Husband - Henry Shilling

---

He was but two years of age when his parents came to Mercer County, Pennsylvania, and settled in Hickory township, on a tract of land comprising five hundred acres, the borough site of the present Wheatland. Upon reaching his majority, Mr. Shilling engaged in agriculture on his own account and in which he was highly successful. He lived and labored as a farmer there until his death.
