General Notes: Husband - Ebenezer Hogue


He was born in a part of Beaver County, Pennsylvania, which later became a part of Lawrence County. He obtained a common school education, and was reared on a farm. His parents came to Cranberry township, Venango County, in 1844, and located on the farm where Joseph Hogue later resided. He was working at the furnace in Clarion County, when he became acquainted with, and married E. F. Holliday, June 1st, 1854. He then returned to Venango County, and located on a farm.
