General Notes: Husband - Andrew McClure


He was educated in the public schools, and in early manhood established himself as a farmer, and was identified with agricultural pursuits almost all his life, only a short period being spent in mercantile business. He lived near McKeesport, Pennsylvania, on the White Oak Levels. He was active in the interests of the Republican party, and served as tax collector. His religious affiliations were with the Methodist church, in which he was also active.
