She graduated from the Apollo high school at the age of sixteen years, and after one year at the Blairsville Seminary, took special courses in music and elocution at Wilson College, Chambersburg, and completed her education at Neff's School of Oratory, Philadelphia, and Miss Annabel's private finishing school in literature in Philadelphia.
