General Notes: Husband - Rev. William Moorhead

He was a Presbyterian minister.

Jane McMillan married Rev. William Moorhead; her sister Margaret married Rev. John Watson. These two clergymen were married on the same day; a short time afterwards they were taken sick on the same day, and died on the same day. The funeral services were held, one at Canonsburg, the other at the residence of Dr. McMillan. The processions met at the Chartiers churchyard, and they were buried in the same grave, and one slab covers their last resting-place.
