General Notes: Husband - James Pollock


He was commissioned justice of the peace for Perry township, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, by Governor Pollock, March 13, 1855, for five years. He was also the first post-master at Pollock P. O., serving for two years, 1869-1870.

He was a farmer and carpenter, and lived in Perry township, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, near the mouth of the Clarion river, owning the farm upon which he resided; he was a Republican in his political beliefs. He and his wife were both members of the Presbyterian church, in which Mr. Pollock was an elder.

He had eight oil wells on his farm of seventy-five acres.
