General Notes: Husband - Jacob Strohm

He was a native of Germany, who emigrated to America about 1800, settling in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he remained for a few years. He subsequently removed to Westmoreland County, settling in East Huntingdon township, where he engaged in the occupation of a farmer for the remainder of his active working life.
He was a member of the Mennonite church and always voted the whig ticket.
