General Notes: Husband - Harry L. Thompson

He received his degree as Civil Engineer from Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana. In 1903, while he was still a student at the university, a train which carried him and a number of the other students, was wrecked near Indianapolis and Mr. Thompson was seriously injured. He completed his course, but his injuries were of so serious a nature that he eventually died as a result of them, never having been able to practice his profession.
