General Notes: Husband - Benjamin Whalley


He warranted the tract of land called "Federal Hill," in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. He settled in that section at a very early date, and was among the number that owned slaves. He was an officer in the Revolutionary war.

He had a family of six sons and six daughters born at "Federal Hill."
