General Notes: Husband - Capt. James Whalley

In the War of 1812, he took out a company of soldiers from Connellsville, Pennsylvania, in Col. Robert Patterson's regiment, and later went out in the Northwestern expedition on the Indian frontier. After his return home he removed to Uniontown, living there until his death.
