General Notes: Husband - Thomas Beaty

He was of the Newburgh Beaty family, probably a son of Robert, and grandson of Robert, the pioneer at Marbletown, Ulster County, New York.

He settled first in Esopus, New York, near Newburgh, and, about 1810, in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, where he settled on a farm. Both he and his wife are buried on the old homestead there.

His grandfather emigrated from Scotland to Newburg, on the Hudson, in New York State, and thence removed to Beaver County, Pennsylvania, about 1807. He had a family of three daughters and four sons. [HWC 1887, 609]

He left his native home in Scotland and came to America, locating at Newburgh on the Hudson River, in New York state. He subsequently removed to Beaver County, Pennsylvania, in 1808. He was the progenitor of a family of three sons and four daughters. [BOB37JD, 193]
