General Notes: Husband - Dr. Richard A. Walsh

He was born at the old Walsh homestead at Crafton, Pennsylvania. He obtained his primary education at St. Philip's Catholic school and graduated from Pittsburg College of the Holy Ghost. His early life was spent in his father's store, and after his father and uncle retired from business the store was turned over to their sons Richard A. and Richard E. Walsh; who conducted the same until 1900. Richard A. Walsh then entered the dental department of the Western University of Pennsylvania, graduating from the same in 1903, after which he opened an office at No. 9 Crafton avenue, Crafton, Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Philip's Catholic church, a member of Chartiers Council, Knights of Columbus, and was Grand Knight of that body.
