General Notes: Husband - Nicholas Behm, Sr.

He was a native of Coner-Hesse, Germany; immigrated to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, whence he came to what is now Forward township, Butler County, in 1830, and settled near Breakneck on a rented farm. He had then a family of three sons and two daughters. In 1834 he located at Zelienople; subsequently purchased a farm in Jackson township, and died at the home of his son Nicholas, aged ninety-two years.
