General Notes: Husband - John B. Carson


He was born on the old home place on Pigeon creek, Fallowfield township, Washington County, PA, where he grew to manhood. He married and located on the Pigeon Creek farm, later occupied by his son Smith, but in the spring of 1846 he moved to Maple creek, on the farm his son, Jerome G. later lived on. He voted the Democratic ticket, and served in various offices. In religion he and his wife were members of the Baptist Church. He served as major in the old-time militia.
